Mission and Vision:VISION
The organization of society must be based on collective and peaceful building links between individuals and social groups, not individual interest and economic growth.
It is the interaction and togetherness between individuals and social groups that make up the engines of society.
The most important indicator of well-being of society, both North and South, should not be the overall level of production and economic growth. The welfare rather measure the level of satisfaction of basic needs for the entire population, social cohesion and the preservation of cultural and environmental heritage of humanity.
We offer different activities that allow the volunteer to develop its thinking and citizen engagement capabilities to actively participate in building a more just and united world
our values
YSA is driven by values. These underpin the vision of the organization as to how society should work and influence his way of defining and organizing its mission

our Mission
YSA aims to contribute to this vision of the world by putting in place structures, activities allowing people participating to development collective action, to act responsibly in their society, to be actors of social change.
Volunteering:
Volunteering is at the heart of the strategy of YSA:
 volunteerism by its non-market provides another way of conceiving the organization of society. It highlights the social bond rather than the economic relationship and values the participation and contribution of each individual to the community.
 In YSA, volunteering is organized in the framework of collective action, to allow meetings between cultures (international volunteer projects), social backgrounds and generations.
 The non-violent conflict management, respect for the environment and collective decision making on the basis of dialogue and consensus are always present in volunteering activities.
Capacity building:
The learning process of the YSA aims to strengthen the capacity of people to become aware of the functioning of society today, develop confidence in their intervention options to become social change agents and thus contribute to the achievement of the vision of YSA.

Awareness and mobilization:
In order to promote its vision, YSA implements outreach programs to better understand the mechanisms governing the interdependence between social groups, to develop critical and analytical skills and to create a desire to individual and collective change.
At any time of the learning process, YSA offers spaces that allow the development of collective actions, informs on other areas and encourages mobilization.
It is in this context that YSA initiate in Benin on Global Youth Service Day (GYSD)

The lines of action of YSA cover, among others, the following:

• simplify the constraints of legal, administrative, fiscal and social, including the exchange of information and good practices;
• encourage the participation of young people by disseminating information at all appropriate levels (local, regional, national, African), encouraging greater cooperation between the different actors (young people, youth and voluntary organizations, public authorities, private sector, etc.) and addressing the exclusion of certain categories of young people;
• ensure recognition of voluntary activities through certificates, awards and prizes by introducing national concepts such as Volunteer Day and Benin youth's week, and the building projects as Beninese young volunteers (JVB).
