STOP COVID-19 IN BENIN (ON GLOBAL GIVING)
The first cases of the Covid-19 pandemic are detected in Benin from
March 16, 2020. The first confirmed case is a 49-year-old Burkinabé who
returned to Benin on March 12, 2020.
Between March 16, 2020 and March 23, 2020, 4 new cases are detected in Benin.
As of April 3, 2020, the cumulative assessment published by the government of Benin shows 16 confirmed cases, 2 healings and 1 death.
Faced with the constantly increasing number of contaminated subjects, as well as health workers, the NGO Youth Service Africa (YSA) in partnership with other civil society organizations (NGO Bien Etre Santé, POJ-DDC) , ODDB) come to ask for help of good wills to support the health agencies of Benin and assistance to the population (distribution of protective materials) in order to slow the spread of the virus in the country.
Due to the low income of the population which is less than a dollar a day, the purchase of protection kits poses a real problem. This increases the risk of contamination and spread of the COVID-19 virus among the population.
Benin, a developing country with an inadequate sanitation system which leaves something to be desired, requires strong support to overcome this virus.
The only way left for us to curb this pandemic is to provide assistance to the population and to the country's health agencies.
Benin is one of the most dangerous places in the world for sanitation and hygiene in schools. Your donation can make a difference in the life of a child and his entourage. Did you know that for only $ 50 YOUTH SERVICE AFRICA (YSA) can provide a quick installation to avoid to village schools children from getting sick by lack of hygiene in Benin? Join me by donating $ 1 for each hour that you (or a loved one) are at work. Cleanliness comes in all shapes and sizes, save them
